Code/Art Fest 2020

Code/Art is a non-profit whose mission is to increase the number of girls studying computer science by delighting and inspiring them with the creative possibilities of computer programming. We strive to put young women, particularly young women from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups, on track for future tech careers by providing welcoming early coding programs that focus on art, creativity and social good.Code/Art uses art as an onramp to coding for girls in grades 3-12 using its three key programs: after school CodeHER Clubs, Professional Development for K-12 teachers, and Code/Art Fest, an annual celebration of girls in coding.

<h2>Code/Art Fest - Better than Ever! </h2><h3>March 14, 2020</h3><p><a href="https://codeartfest.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Code/Art Fest </a> highlights the achievements of young female coders and seeks to increase awareness of opportunities in computing fields. </p><p>The festival includes a student digital art exhibition, women in tech speakers, an awards ceremony, and much more! <strong>Event is great for students, parents, educators,  tech leaders, and all who are interested in the intersection of tech + art.</strong></p><p><strong>March 14  (4pm-7pm) </strong>- Coded Art, Keynote Speakers &amp; Student Awards</p><ul><li><a href="https://www.timeless.care/about" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"><strong>Emma Yang</strong></a>:  15-year-old founder of award-winning Timeless app</li><li><strong>Montra Ellis</strong>: Director at Growth Strategy &amp; Innovation at Ultimate Software - "AI, Ethics &amp; Diversity: Keep the Humanity and Avoid the Biases"</li></ul><p><strong>March 14 (7pm-8pm)</strong> - Meet &amp; Greet with speakers, light bites.    (VIP ticket required.)</p>
