Code Together Day

Code Your Dreams (CYD) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making technology education accessible to all. We believe that technology should be built by and for our communities, and we equip students of all ages with the skills and resources to create meaningful tech solutions. Through our free CYD Hub, we provide curriculum, training, and support to help anyone start their own coding club or program—removing barriers to innovation and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to shape the future of technology.

Join us for Code Together Day where families come together to explore technology, creativity, and innovation. There’s something for everyone—some sessions are for the whole family, while others are just for kids or just for adults.<h3>How It Works</h3><ul><li>The day kicks off with snacks and a welcome activity for the entire family around AI safety and character generation ("Creating with AI: A Live Family Experience in Creativity, Safety &amp; Opportunity")</li><li>Participants rotate through hands-on, age-appropriate activities</li><li>Parents and caregivers can stay with their kids or join tailored sessions just for them</li><li>A variety of interactive coding, AI, tech, career, and creative experiences will be available for all ages</li></ul><h3> For Kids:</h3><ul><li>Code Your Own Art</li><li>Hands-On Robotics Fun</li><li>Coding in Minecraft</li><li>Code Your Own Nail Art Design</li><li>Create a Musical Symphony with Software</li><li>Craft a Binary Code Bracelet or Necklace</li><li>Cybersecurity Challenges</li><li>Filmmaking + Tech Workshop</li><li>More sessions and fun surprises to be announced!</li></ul><h3> For Parents &amp; Caregivers:</h3><ul><li>Parents in Tech &amp; Entrepreneurship Panel</li><li>How to Prepare Your Student(s) for a STEM/Tech Oriented journey with Discovery Partners Institute</li><li>(AI Track): Vibe Coding for Your Family - "No Code.
