Code, Light, Play. Micro:Bits Basics

What happens when kids write the code that makes something blink, buzz, or move?

Young makers will learn to program BBC micro:bits using Python. No experience required!

Led by Demonshae Glover, a coding instructor with eight years teaching youth across the city, participants will program scrolling text and images onto an LED screen and leave with a working project, along with the confidence that they can code it themselves.

This workshop is perfect for curious creative coders 12+.

Each workshop 'session' will last about 30 minutes, so grab a ticket for whichever time works best for you. Each session hosts 4 participants, and all three sessions are exactly the same program-wise.
