Urban Schools Collaborative is proud to invite you to CODE HOU. A program focused on exposing participants to the world of computer science. Students will get the opportunity to program and develop the gopigo robot. Each group will collaborate to program/code the robot to complete an exciting challenge. Engaging breakout sessions will teach the participants about collegiate opportunities as well as exhilarating career paths participants don't typically associate with computers science. Industry experts will be in attendance to personally share their journey within compute science and STEM.
Participants between the ages of 7-21 are encouraged to join and will be divided into teams based on age and experience level. CODE HOU will include a series of instructional and competitive events that promote knowledge, character, and confidence. This event will be hosted on the campus of Texas Southern University May 31-June 3, 2016. Activities will begin daily at 9am and end at 3pm.
Participants will be competing for more than $5K in prizes and scholarships! If you are ready to be a part of the tech revolution, we encourage you to join us for this incredible opportunity.
