Code for safety
Join Twig the Code and Naisten Linja for a 2-day hackathon dedicated to building innovative tech solutions to prevent gender-based violence!
Code for Safety is a collaborative hackathon hosted by Twig the Code and Naisten Linja. Our goal is to bring together coders, designers, and other innovators to create practical solutions focused on preventing gender-based violence.
Whether you are a student, a seasoned IT professional, a social and health care worker, or someone who works with survivors of gender-based violence, your skills and ideas are needed. We welcome both teams and individuals to join the event.
Please register for the event by March 15th.
Good to know:
- Food: We will provide a light lunch and snacks during the event (sat / & sun)
- Language: We will use both Finnish and English flexibly, supporting one another throughout the event.
- Safety: Code for Safety is dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive space for women, minorities and underrepresented groups in the field of IT. We are committed to providing a safe environment for everyone. Any form of harassment or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
If you can't join us in Helsinki but have an idea, please use the registration form to let us know about it!
Let’s use technology as a force for building a safer world! ✨
