Code Day 2026!
Middle school girls are invited to attend PittSWE's Code Day, an event introducing various computer and code-related topics!
*DATE CHANGED TO 2/15 DUE TO EXTREME WEATHER/TEMPERATURES
Pitt's chapter of the Society of Women Engineers invites all middle school girls (grades 6, 7, & 8) to Code Day, a 3-hour event introducing students to a variety of computer and code-related topics! Topics include Scratch, artificial intelligence, HTML, and a discussion with current Pitt computer science and computer/electrical engineering students. This event is a great way to introduce your child to computers and coding (no prior experience required).
We hope to see your daughter at Code Day! When registering, please be sure that the name on the ticket matches the name of the student registering for the program, not the parent.
Please email pittswe.outreach@gmail.com with any questions!
