Following up on our last event, &quot;Embracing coding - follow the road of learning to code&quot;, we want to give you a better understanding of the glue that holds software together and provide you with the necessary tools to start your own software projects.With so many coding-101 courses out there, many of us are overwhelmed and find it hard to pick a starting point. When beginning to code, it is important to not only know how the programming language works but also how the different components work together. Join us for this 3h workshop where you will understand the big picture of how to build a software project. We will give you a glimpse into software engineering methods and give an overview of software architectures. You will learn how to use APIs to connect to other systems and will know the necessary tools to keep going after the workshop! Oh - and did we mention - the workshop features a bunch of cat memes ;-)So - join us for our hands-on Code-Along on March 7, 13:00 (CET), where you will follow along with us to build our own small software project!This event is open to ALL, female, male, and non-binary!<h3>Prerequisites</h3><ul><li>Computer (or tablet with a keyboard)</li><li>Stable internet connection</li><li>Coding experience: While we will revisit some basic Java knowledge, we do recommend the basics to best follow along, i.e., classes, attributes, methods, objects.
