Coaching 101
Coaching 101 is designed to equip new and practicing coaches with a clear understanding of the coaching approach and how it differs from other forms of helping, as well as the skills to easily and powerfully articulate the value of coaching to potential clients.
We will explore the fundamental principles, methodologies, and ethical considerations that differentiate coaching from other forms of helping such as therapy, counseling, mentoring, and teaching. Through interactive discussions, case studies, and practical exercises, you will develop a deeper understanding of each discipline's core concepts, as well as the appropriate
boundaries and applications for each.
In this course, you will gain invaluable insights into the fundamental differences, approaches, and purposes of each helping modality, enabling you to confidently articulate the coaching approach, as well as the value of coaching to your clients and stakeholders.
This course is ICF-approved for 2.5 hours of Continuing Coach Education (CCE).
