Calling All Coaches Past &amp; Present.!!! We have our annual COACHES TRAINING PROGRAM coming up sooner than later this year and we figured we would let you know ASAP!!!! This FREE program will be geared towards getting everyone prepared to be AWESOME, WELL TRAINED, AND SUPER RAD SEND TOWN COACHES. <h2>SCHEDULE</h2>START DATE: Saturday, February 25 Location TBD<ul><li>1st Practice &amp; Classroom Day: Saturday February 25 — Lunch Provided </li></ul><ul><li>2nd Practice: Saturday March 4 </li></ul><ul><li>3rd Practice: Saturday March 11 </li></ul>THE FIRST PRACTICE WILL COVER THE FOLLOW:An Explanation of Send Town … History and Mission Statement BOD and Staff Introductions. A Description of our main programs that we offer: Spring (HS/MS)Skills, Spring GRRP, Spring Ladies Only, Fall CO High School League, Non Race Fall (HS/MS) Skills…Duration, Practice Schedule, and general info. We then will transition to the meat of the first part of the practice.......The 1st Half of this Practice will be half Classroom stuff for about 1 to 3 hours. We will go over General information such as Rules and Regulations, Policies, Practice Structure, and General Terminology. How we log our practices in Coach Zone and schedule our practices on Stack Team App. A Plan the Ride, Ride the Plan Discussion, and lastly a talk about Concussion and First Aid training. Break for Lunch. Then the second half of this first day will be a trail ride or drills training in which the riders will be taught how to teach BIKE&lt; BODY SEPARATION &amp; CORNERING. The second &amp; third practices will be MUCH Shorter... 1.5 to 2 Hour in Length...A typical time amount for a Send Town Practice. We will be covering the following skills:<ul><li>Climbing </li></ul><ul><li>Descending </li></ul>Depending on the weather, we will try to get on some trails but if not, we will do skills drills to cover these 2 important skills and teach how to teach them.....NO LUNCH PROVIDEDAnd then, THAT&#x27;S IT!!!! YOU ALL WILL BE READY TO COACH THESE RIDERS!!!!! and MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF THE YOUTH OF NORTHERN COLORADO!!!!
