The Co-Lab Experience: Youth Employment Innovation Challenge and Workshops
EARLY BIRD SURPRISE: FIRST 30 PEOPLE TO REGISTER BEFORE NOVEMBER 11TH WILL RECEIVE A CBC PRIZE PACK
CBC Quebec and Canadian Heritage with the support of Bishop's University and the Quebec Community Groups Network invite you to join the first edition the Co-LAB Experience. We're looking for creative and dynamic participants of all ages to work with one of five community organizations during a 2-day activity designed to identify innovative new solutions to create opportunities for English-speaking youth in the province of Quebec. 
Solutions are made by those who show up! Join the Co-LAB experience and be a part of the solution. There will be prizes for the best projects and most engaged participants (cash prizes and cool stuff).
PRIZES:

<H3>$2,500 grant to the organization with the most innovative project</H3>

<H3>$1,000 cash prize shared between youth participants who work with the winning organization to develop the most innovative project</H3>
</LI>

<H3>Special prizes like a tablet or homepod will be given out throughout the event</H3>

Participants will collaborate with other inspiring minds, work with community organizations & industry, learn from experts in the field, and apply their skills to develop real world solutions.

5:30 PM: CBC Asks (LIVE): Youth Employment: Do I have a future in Quebec?
6:30 PM: Presentation of organization challenges and team formation

Friday, November 15th  
8:30 AM: Doors open/breakfast served
9:00 AM: Opening presentations - project criteria (Canadian Heritage, QCGN, Y4Y Quebec)
10:30 AM: Workshop - building projects collaboratively
12:00 PM: CBC Radio Noon LIVE + Lunch 
2:00 PM: Workshop - optional breakout session
5:30 PM: Dinner conference - Ashley Werhun, Co-founder of Mentorly
6:30 PM: Networking / teamwork
11:00 PM: End of day
Saturday, November 16th 
9:00 AM: Doors open / breakfast
9:30 AM: Presentation - how to pitch your project to a jury
10:00 AM: Teams prepare pitches
11:00 AM: Pitch time! With CBC's Spencer Van Dyke as MC
12:00 PM: Deliberation and announcement of winners

CBC Québec et Patrimoine canadien avec le soutien de l'Université Bishop's et du Quebec Community Groups Network vous invitent à vous joindre à la première édition de l'expérience Co-LAB. Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche de participants créatifs et dynamiques de tous âges pour travailler avec l'un des cinq organismes communautaires. Durant deux jours d’activités, les participants auront comme objectif de trouver de nouvelles solutions novatrices pour créer des possibilités pour les jeunes anglophones du Québec. 
 Les solutions sont créées et développées par les personnes qui participent! Joignez-vous à l'expérience Co-LAB et faites partie de la solution. Il y aura des prix pour les meilleurs projets et pour les participants les plus engagés (des prix en argent et d’autres beaux prix). Les participants auront l’occasion de collaborer avec d’autres participants aussi allumés, travailleront avec des organismes communautaires et des industries, apprendront des experts dans le domaine et appliqueront leurs compétences pour élaborer des solutions concrètes. Une expérience très enrichissante en perspective! Déroulement des activités : Jeudi 14 novembre de 16h à 20h : Cérémonie d'ouverture et formation des équipes Vendredi 15 novembre de 9h à 23h : Ateliers, présentations, séances de travail en équipe. Samedi 16 novembre de 9h à 13h30 : Présentation, séance de travail d'équipe, pitchs et remise des prix *Pour participer, c’est gratuit et les repas sont fournis.
Cet événement sera présenté en anglais. Tout le monde est le bienvenu.
