Learn about what Development executives look for in a series pitch!

Development executives, Asalle Tanha and Meghan Bradley, discuss the basics of TV animation development, focusing on tips for developing your own creative idea into a series pitch.*Due to legal restrictions, the speakers will not be hearing original ideas during this event.

Asalle Tanha is director of development for Cartoon Network Original Series, where she is responsible for finding and developing new original shows. She has developed 17 artist-driven shorts in addition to the hit series Victor and Valentino, Craig of the Creek, Apple &amp; Onion, and Infinity Train, as well as two upcoming series, Tig n’ Seek and The Fungies, produced by Cartoon Network Studios for HBOMax.

Tanha began her career in animation as part of Pixar’s Story department, where she was a production assistant on the feature film The Good Dinosaur. Prior, she touched nearly every other department at Pixar where she developed a thorough understanding of the company’s internal content pipeline. 
Tanha graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Civilizations. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Media and Communications from the London School of Economics.

Meghan Bradley recently joined the development department at Cartoon Network.  Previously, she spent the last six years working on various Cartoon Network shows as a current series executive, supporting We Bare Bears, Clarence, Summer Camp Island, the upcoming The Fungies!, and numerous co-productions.  She continues to help staff writers across the network.  Meghan attended Boston University and is a mentor in the Women In Animation mentorship program.
