A Dose of Art

CMMSEM is an organization dedicated to promoting underrepresented minorities and LGBTQ rising second year medical students to careers in academic and community emergency medicine (EM). Our program highlights areas in medical research, physician mentorship, and hospital residency preparation necessary for success in the emergency department. Our mission is to emphasize relevancy of the emergency medicine specialty to underrepresented individuals.

Chicago Minority Medical Students in Emergency Medicine (CMMSEM)

We are excited to cordially invite you to join us at the Chicago Minority Medical Student Emergency Medicine (CMMSEM) Spring Fundraiser for a celebration of culinary, visual, spoken, performing, and musical art. The event will take place on Thursday, April 19th, 2018 from 6pm-10pm on the 44th floor of the John Hancock Center in downtown Chicago with sweeping views of the city and Lake Michigan. A variety of gustatory hors d'oeuvres and wine will be provided. Captivating guests performances and breathtaking presentations will feature local Chicago minority artists in various genres. All proceeds from this fundraising event will go directly towards providing stipends for our Summer 2018 cohort of rising 2nd year minority medical students.
