CMLA Reception

CMLA is the only trade association exclusively representing the interests of small and mid-size independent mortgage lenders and community banks before Federal regulators and the U.S. Congress.  Currently the organization is fighting for reg relief for small lenders doing plain vanilla lending, and making sure GSE Reform is sensible and not geared toward big bank control of the secondary.  CMLA is managed by a 12 member, independent lender Board of Directors.  Ed Wallace is The CMLA's Executive Director.
