CLX Workshop #1: Understanding Privilege

When we talk about racism, sexism, and other forms of oppression, it’s often easier to look at discrimination and disadvantage—but privilege is the other side of that coin.  Please join us for an activity and discussion that our staff and faculty found enlightening and rewarding—exploring the structure of privilege, without diving into shame and guilt, and learning how to be a strong ally.
These are events put on by the Claxton Social Justice League for Claxton parents and caregivers, but anyone is welcome to attend.
Due to limited resources, childcare will only be provided to Claxton families with sign in open at 5:45
Light snacks provided
Workshop is from 6pm-8pm and will take place at Claxton Elementary
