About this event

Currituck County 4-H is pleased to join efforts with Dream Hunt and Fishing Program and conduct a program for youth ages 5-7. This program is for those that are passionate about the outdoors and all it has to offer. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the different fish that are in our local waters that surround Currituck county. They will also see different skins from the different animals that habitat the local forest and surrounding areas. To conclude our day participants will be able to fish in the stocked fishing ponds located at the Currituck County Rural Center (CCRC) and make a craft that ties in with their day of learning about wildlife.

Participants will meet 4-H staff at the CCRC at 9:30am. Please have your child bring a bag lunch. Pick up for the day will be at 2:00pm.

There is a registration fee of $5.00. Payment can be made with a credit card via Eventbrite, or cash/check payable to NCSU. Checks and cash can be delivered to the Currituck Extension Office at 120 Community Way, Barco, NC 27917 within 5 days of registration..
