About this event

We welcome you to an afternoon of inspiration, encouragement and mindset. We are living in times where life can be challenging and difficult, and even lifechanging. How do we find that inner hero that will enable us to overcome our fears, and enable courage and resilience?

We are very blessed to have Hari Budha Magar as our guest speaker, travelling all the way from the city of Canterbury. Some of you may recognise Hari from the 'Pride of Britain'.

Hari Budha Magar is a Nepalese Gurkha, who lost both legs above the knee, whilst serving in the British army in Afghanistan in 2010.

Unable to cope with his injuries, he turned to alcohol and became suicidal. Realising that he needed to change his life, and refocus, he became interest in mountaineering. In 2023 he became the first double amputee to summit Mount Everest.

Hari’s climb was driven by a desire to raise awareness about disability and inspire others to overcome adversity.

Monika Pauzek will deliver a talk on reducing stress through breath work.

Andy’s Mans Club representative to talk on mental health and the support on offer all over the UK.

Blues Legend King Rollo to perform with guitar (www.king-rollo.co.uk)
