Candlelight vigil and virtual concert featuring songs from a new Christian album focused on our climate crisis.

Light a candle with us at <a href="https://climatevigil.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">ClimateVigil.org</a>, and help launch the global #ClimateVigil campaign at the UN Climate Conference (COP26).Join Christians from around the world as we pray, sing, and reflect on what it means to be Christ-followers in the age of climate change. Local and international partners will lead us in worship (virtually), and The Porter’s Gate Worship Project will share songs from their new climate-focused album! Speakers include: <ul><li>Katharine Hayhoe: Christian, Climate Scientist, Chief Scientist for The Nature Conservancy, Professor at Texas Tech University</li><li>Thomas Shirrmacher: Secretary General, World Evangelical Alliance</li><li>Ruth Valerio: Director of Global Advocacy and Influencing, Tearfund</li><li>Fred Drummond: Scotland Director and UK Director of Prayer, Evangelical Alliance</li><li>Kyle Meyaard-Schaap: Vice President, Evangelical Environmental Network</li><li>Marqus Cole: Grace Snelville Church, Georgia, USA</li></ul>Jesus said, "You are the light of the world." So let's shine our lights together on Saturday, Nov. 6. For those able to join us in Glasgow, please note that the event will be limited to 100 people.Virtual tickets to view the program online are also available to anyone!
