Clynfyw CBS is running a series of Climate Conversations throughout 2026 in order to help our West Wales/Lower Teifi Valley community get a better understanding of, and become better prepared for, the challenges we face in the coming years.

Our next Conversation will be on Tuesday 13th October: 'Screening of the People's Emergency Briefing.'

In November 2025, the National Emergency Briefing brought together leading experts to present the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis to politicians and other influential people in Westminster. The People’s Emergency Briefing film brings together people in local communities across the UK to hear the evidence and discuss how to respond. Businesses, institutions and local councils are also hosting screenings to help take the briefing to wider audiences across the nation.

Questions and discussion about the film and how we can support our community to encourage our leaders to embrace the challenge more positively, while also helping local people to take action themselves, starting new projects or engaging with existing ones with a focus on mitigation and adaption.
