Aloha Redland is happy to host Linda Cheung from the organization Before it&#x27;s too Late in collaboration with Ombretta Agró from ARTSail Residency and Research Initiative in this educational workshop.In the En-ROADS Climate Workshop participants propose climate solutions such as energy efficiency, carbon pricing, fossil fuel taxes, reducing deforestation, and carbon dioxide removal. The facilitator then tests these approaches separately or as a package in the En-ROADS Climate Solutions Simulator, so that participants can see the impact on global temperature and other factors.The workshop will be a couple of hours. This workshop helps build support for strategies to address climate change via interactive testing of the cutting-edge simulation model En-ROADS. The resulting experience is hopeful, scientifically-grounded, action-oriented, and eye-opening.We hope you can join us.-Suggested Donation: $15 Adults, $5 Students-Masks Required-Proceeds will help benefit the climate awareness efforts made by ARTSail and &quot;Before it’s Too Late&quot;ABOUT:Linda Cheung- Linda founded Before It’s Too Late to use the power of visual arts and storytelling to create empathy, shift perspectives and spur social change -- to take care of our planet. Through BITL she is empowering students, artists, entrepreneurs and vulnerable communities to become agents of change on the climate issue. Linda has 9 years of professional experience in the marketing, finance and renewable energy industries. Linda has also worked on international social impact projects in Guatemala, Kenya and India, and she grew up helping her serial entrepreneur family launch seven restaurants and other food industry startups. An avid swimmer, diver and kiteboarder, since moving to Miami in 2013, Ombretta&#x27;s passion for the Florida waterways inspired ARTSail. A nomadic, multi-faceted platform, ARTSail facilitates interdisciplinary practice to cultural producers in the creation of innovative content addressing the climate crisis specific to South Florida.
