Are you worried or concerned about climate change? Does the climate crisis make you anxious? Want to take local climate action but don’t know how or where?

Join us for the first Climate Cafe at the Riverside Park, Manhattan to discuss everything related to the climate crisis (including how it makes us feel). Whether you're a concerned citizen, an activist, or just curious about the topic, this community-organized space is for you. As 70% of young people feel climate anxiety and 56% believe humanity is doomed, we urgently need spaces to navigate our climate emotions and translate them into action.

Come and have open and meaningful conversations about the climate crisis; share your ideas, listen to inspiring talks, learn about local initiatives and emotional resilience tools and connect with like-minded individuals. Join us to become a part of a network of thousands of activists and concerned citizens through climate cafés worldwide.

This Climate Café will be offered by Brooklyn Public Library´s Climate café host and Force of Nature community member, Marilynn H. C., in collaboration with New Leaves Urban Reform podcast, team. Force of Nature is a world community dedicated to turning climate anxiety into action and working with leaders to drive intergenerational solutions. New Leaves Urban Reform is an organization for the conservation of the environment, with a program focused on keep local parks and wilderness areas litter free.
