Calling all co-op curious lawyers! Join PACA and Villanova Law Clinic on Thursday, May 16th, from 6-7:30pm ET for a workshop on legal considerations for lawyers in supporting the two main forms of worker co-ops: LLCs and Cooperative Corporations. This workshop is free and lawyers can now receive 1.5 CLE credits, for attending. The session will be led by co-op experienced lawyer: Komal Vaidya, with short introduction to what cooperatives are: how they are run and their principles, led by PACA co-op developer: Corey Reidy.

These workshops are part of a series called: Community of Practice. The goal of this series is to skill-up lawyers (and other industry professionals) in what cooperatives are, their specific needs, and how they can support cooperatives with their professional expertise. This will allow cooperatives to receive the industry support they need, as well as aid professionals in working with more cooperative clients.
