About this event

Every 3rd Saturday.

Hand building (6 seats) and Wheel Whrowing (4 seats)

Want to practice your creativity with clay? Clay open studio gives returning students the opportunity to work on personal projects with supervision. No instruction occurs during open-studio time. Participants will be able to purchase clay in 5 LB increments ($1/LB).

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a class or a workshop. This program provides space for aspiring clay artists to practice techniques and work on personal projects in a communal setting and without constraints of experience or drawing technique.

All participants must have taken 2 or more clay classes before, or have proven experience.

All glaze, tools and firing are included.

About the instructor: Kim Ferguson creates sculptural and functional ceramic pieces that reflect her philosophy of eternal optimism in the face of chaos. Her work has been described as whimsical, vibrant, and feminine, and is informed by her life as a child in Jamaica and her immigration experience in South Florida.
