Child care teachers working in licensed child care agencies, including licensed home care providers, are invited to attend a FREE Classroom Management workshop. Gain valuable skills for de-escalation, emotional regulation, and pyramid classroom design!

You must REGISTER if you would like to attend. Don't wait - spots will fill up quickly!

Time: 8am - 12pm

Details:

  • Attend three sessions designed for child care teachers on the topics of de-escalation for children who have experienced trauma, emotional regulation for young children, and pyramid classroom design to help mitigate and prevent challenging behaviors!
  • There will be FREE on-site child care for children ages 4-12 years old (the deadline to request this is 5/24/24).
  • Coffee and Lunch will be provided.
  • Upon completion of the workshop, teachers will receive TrainTN credits, classroom materials, and a $50 stipend from UTC!
  • This workshop is completely free for Hamilton County, TN child care providers thanks to the Quality Matters Fund.
  • This workshop is co-hosted by the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's Office of Innovation and Teaching and Early Matters, an action team of Chattanooga 2.0.
