 Create games that work on large and small screens using a JavaScript game engine.

 Class Description Do you have an interest in making games that are playable across devices of all sizes? If so, you are invited to attend this JavaScript Game Development class! We will be making a simple game using Phaser, an open-source game engine. This workshop aims to give you the skills to make games that anyone with an internet browser can access! Come learn to make video games that are accessible on computers, tablets and smartphones using a JavaScript framework.

 About the Instructor
Catt is a proud gamer, Product Designer, and Front-End Web Developer at <A HREF="https://soundcloud.com/" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">SoundCloud</A>. She has done design work for companies of all sizes including Bedrocket, NASDAQ OMX, and Scholastic. She started coding at the age of 12, designing at the age of 15, and graduated from SVA with a BFA in Graphic Design in 2011. In her spare time, Catt makes video games with Buttered Toast Studios and <A HREF="http://brooklyngamery.com/" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Brooklyn Gamery</A>; organizes events for <A HREF="http://techunderthirty.com/" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Tech Under Thirty</A>; teaches game development with <A HREF="http://codeliberation.org/" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Code Liberation Foundation</A>; and draws comics. <A HREF="http://cattsmall.com/" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">http://cattsmall.com</A>
