We’d like to formally invite you to our first Civic Impact Academy virtual event.
In a lunch-and-learn style webinar, we will introduce the Civic Impact Academy mission and describe the learning format. We will also answer frequently asked questions and shed light on what our Civic Impact Academy will look like.

Who should join the academy and what will they learn?
We are curating a 20-person cohort made of 10 community leaders and 10 government leaders (front-line and management staff).

Curriculum will cover a range of topics including understanding power dynamics in advocacy, local historical context, understanding government systems, local government budgeting, media relations, and storytelling. Participants will apply learnings to solve for real life community challenges in key topic areas most impacting our region including affordable housing, education, healthcare, justice system, environment, land use planning, and access to capital for small businesses.
