City of Rochester Upstate MWBE Conference

The City of Rochester will be hosting the 2nd Annual Upstate MWBE Conference. It will be held May 8-10, 2024 at the Joseph Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center. This conference brings together MWBE businesses from the four (4) Upstate New York regions: Finger Lakes, Western New York, Central New York and the Southern Tier.

Last year was our inaugural conference and it was attended by over 200 MWBE’s, community-based organizations and businesses from all four regions. We are aiming to top this year’s attendance at 300+. We hope to include you in our attendance numbers.

The theme of this three-day event will be “Elevate, Educate and Collaborate”. Night one kicks off with an jazz reception and awards dinner with keynote speaker. MBE and WBE companies have been nominated from each region and the selected companies will receive awards. Day 2 will be training, keynote luncheon and a networking reception. Day 3 will be panel discussion on partnering and collaboration, a HUGE MWBE EXPO and a closing luncheon.
