Mayor Garcetti invites you and your families to attend a screening of the Oscar-nominated film LA LA LAND, on February 21 at 6:30pm.
Shot entirely in Los Angeles, the film is a love letter to our city--an original musical that takes viewers across LA through traffic, across beaches, and up Angel's Flight.
Written and directed by Damien Chazelle [Whiplash], LA LA LAND tells the story of Mia [Emma Stone], an aspiring actress, and Sebastian [Ryan Gosling], a dedicated jazz musician. Set in modern day L.A., this original musical about everyday life explores the joy and pain of pursuing your dreams.
