The City of Columbia's Office of Business Opportunities will host the City of Columbia's 11th Annual Small Business Week Conference on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Columbia Greystone beginning at 9:00AM!

This year's keynote speaker for the Small Business Week Conference is Dr. Stephanie Kirkland of Identity Dynamics, LLC. Also, there will be informative breakout sessions and a vendor showcase to provide information and resources to all attendees!

The U.S. Small Business Administration will also have an awards ceremony and matchmaking session during the conference. If you are interested in participating in the conference, please make sure you add this to your ticket. Early bird rate extended to April 22nd!

The Office of Business Opportunities is committed to supporting initiatives that benefit small, women and minority owned businesses in the City of Columbia.  This objective is accomplished by providing creative financiing, technical assistance and eduction to build the capacity of these businesses. The office has three divisions: (1) Commercial Lending; (2) Technical Assistance, Education and Advocacy; and (3) Contractor and Supplier Diversity.
