The Egyptian Book of the Dead is a syncretic text that describes the births of the gods, the movements of stars and seasons, and a map of the spiritual journey before mankind. It is one of many religious works that define a series of instructions that dictate a path through death to a successful afterlife. This process is found in the citrinitas phase of the alchemist's path.
