About this event

Calling all audiophiles, foodies, music lovers, and history nerds: Factory & studio tours are now running!

Citizen Vinyl is a communal space housing a record press facility, cafe, bar, recording studio, and analog art & record store – located in the historic Citizen-Times newspaper building in downtown Asheville - an incredible specimen of the Art Moderne style whose grand civic space serves to celebrate the history of manufacturing & craft alongside the current state of music, food & beverage within our local community.

Very few walk-up spots are available for most public tours, so reservations are strongly recommended -- first come first served!

Gather at the Welcome Desk near the front doors for your guide at the scheduled time. Tours will last ~45 minutes. Punctuality is appreciated: Late-comers may join in at any point before the group heads up to the recording studio, about 20 minutes in.

✨ Regarding PARKING: Please allow ample time to find parking around the downtown area prior to your tour. All street parking is metered. We suggest the nearby Wall Street Parking Garage at the corner of Otis Street and Battery Park Avenue. The first hour of parking is free, followed by $2.00/hour for every hour or fraction of an hour thereafter. https://www.exploreasheville.com/iconic-asheville/about-asheville/parking-information/✨

✨ Be advised that there is limited access [ stairs / elevator to the 3rd floor ] due to the nature of the historically preserved 1930's construction. Please email tours@CitizenVinyl.com ahead of time with any questions or concerns! ✨

Private tours are now available at this link.
