About this event

PLEASE NOTE: This academy is limited to federal, state and local law enforcement, other public safety personnel and clinical members of state-funded mobile crisis teams.

This 40-hour training provides

  • practical knowledge and critical skills to assist law enforcement officers and other public safety personnel who encounter people in emotional/psychiatric crises in their communities
  • critical de-escalation and communication skills
  • resources and connections with community-based, state-funded mental health resources instead of arrest when appropriate.

Class times are 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM unless otherwise indicated
