Join us for a half-day webinar exploring how the Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) framework is being applied in the development of circular, sustainable and biobased coatings. With contributions from leading EU-funded projects, such as BIO4COAT, TORNADO, IRISS and BIO-SUSHY, this session will share tools, methodologies, and case studies from across the innovation ecosystem.

From digital product passports to SSbD self-assessment tools and real-world implementation, the event provides a unique opportunity to learn from ongoing research and connect with practitioners working at the intersection of safety, sustainability, and innovation in materials science applied to coatings.

Aims of the event

Exchange practical insights and experiences on implementing SSbD principles in the design and development of circular, sustainable and biobased coatings, while showcasing EU-projects' outputs.

Facilitate dialogue across the SSbD innovation landscape.

Gather interest in the set-up of a Cluster of projects and initiatives working on circular, sustainable and biobased coatings. The cluster will be established and facilitated by European Bioplastics.

Audience

Industry and research representatives working on biobased coatings and interested in learning more about the application of the safe-and-sustainable-by-design framework to coatings.
