Circular Sewing

Have a chilled evening as you learn a few simple embroidery stitches and create your own beautiful design.

Come along to two hours of relaxing hand sewing in Bury’s fab Racconto Lounge. Learn a few simple embroidery stitches and begin to create your own beautiful design. Working repetitively round in a circle calms the mind while your hands are quietly engaged. Enjoy being creative with colours and composition. There are lots of samples of my work to provide inspiration and this activity is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced stitchers. We don’t follow a pattern so each piece is unique to you.

All materials and equipment are provided for use at the workshop.

I am a patient and experienced teacher and a passionate textile artist. I am looking forward to sharing stitching techniques and my love of textiles with you.

This is a regular event, happening on the first Thursday of every month.

Racconto's menu is full of tasty bites and delightful drinks, so why not treat yourself to a little something to accompany the stitching and chat.

There is free parking after 6pm near Argos which is a five minute walk from the venue.
