CIP Version 5 Workshop & Small Group Advisory Sessions (SGAS) - April 2015

Event Information

The ERO is hosting a workshop/ advisory event to provide helpful information to Registered Entities that are implementing the CIP Version 5 Reliability Standards.

The event will consist of two parts:

• CIP Version 5 Workshop (April 22: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm ET): a one day general interest session with topics such as bright line criteria, CIP V5 core requirements, lessons learned from the implementation study, CIP Standards modification status, and compliance.
• Small Group Advisory Sessions (SGAS) - (April 21 or 23): Optional closed one-on-one discussions lasting 60 to 90 minutes between a Registered Entity’s subject matter experts (SMEs) and ERO staff about issues pertinent to that entity’s implementation of the CIP V5 Standards.

Registration for the CIP Version 5 workshop is limited to no more than two attendees per Registered Entity. Entities that do not wish to schedule an SGAS appointment are welcome to register only for the workshop since it will address topics that all participants will find useful. However, entities that schedule an SGAS appointment will be given priority for workshop attendance.

For SGAS discussions, there will be no limit to the number of SMEs who can participate (phone/web participation can be arranged for those not attending in person). SGAS registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, so if the number of requests exceeds the time allotted, alternative arrangements will be made.

Those who request an SGAS will be notified of their appointment time so travel arrangements can be made accordingly. The specific time will be scheduled by the ERO after registration is received; the only commitment on the day of the SGAS appointment is at the time of the scheduled discussion.

Registration: Registration is free and is required by April 10 (one registration per person)
