ABOUT CHEF LLORDEL TAYLORChef Taylor migrated to South Florida at the age of 10 from Jamaica. “Cooking has always been my passion. Most of my childhood was spent in the kitchen with my grandmother. It made sense to direct my focus to culinary,” said Chef Llordel Taylor.His decision to pursue the culinary arts is paying off. Recognizedfor his refined and contemporary cuisines,Chef Taylor is moving up Miami’s culinary scene. In the winter of 2015, he was featured in the Soho House Magazine for his creative spin on Jerk chicken. He delights his guests with the most flavorful cuisines bringing his exquisite creativity to everything he touches.Some of Chef Taylor’s specialties such as peach cobbler, gyros, macaroni and cheese, were recognized in a cooking competition held by the City of Miramar.Chef Llordel has worked at top restaurants in Miami including, Cecconi, Mandolin Aegean Bistro, and Tom Colicchio’s Beachcraft. He also showcased his talent at five Art Basel events and participated in the Miami Gardens Food and Wine Festival.Chef Llordel is single and resides in Miami. During his spare time, he enjoys spending quality time with friends and family.
