The <a href="https://www.coloradoimmigrantjusticefund.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Colorado Immigrant Justice Fund</a> (CIJF) was launched two years ago by friends who had a dream of welcoming immigrants to this country by funding their asylum cases. Since that time, over 200 CIJF donors have together funded over 30 asylum cases &amp; provided legal counsel to over 100 detained immigrants.<h3>It’s a party!</h3>Join us on Saturday, August 27th, from 4 to 6 pm, for our first in-person celebration! You&#x27;ll have a chance to:<ul><li>Meet the CIJF team, some of our immigrant friends, and others in the immigrant advocacy community</li><li>See old friends and meet new ones</li><li>Hear stories from immigrants who CIJF has supported</li><li>Meet two of the immigration attorneys funded by CIJF</li><li>Learn about our plans to expand our services </li><li>Donate to the cause!</li></ul>Most importantly, you’ll have a chance to celebrate the excellent work that our donor community has funded. Please join us and invite your friends! Refreshments will be provided.<h3>Help us unlock $10,000!</h3>A generous and anonymous donor has committed to matching every donation up to $10,000! If you would like to donate before, during or after the event, you can <a href="https://www.coloradoimmigrantjusticefund.org/donate" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">do so here</a>. If you would like to volunteer before or during the event, please email info@coloradoimmigrantjusticefund.org. <h3>A few quick reminders</h3><ul><li>The most important one: The event will not be at Denver Community Church, but will be at Mountain View United Church at 10700 E Evans Ave, Aurora, CO 80014.</li><li>We will have an RSVP list at our check in table. If you have registered, there is no need for you to print your tickets or come with your electronic ticket.</li><li>The dress code is casual.</li><li>As far as Covid protocols, we are not asking anyone to wear masks, but encourage people to do so - if they wish. </li></ul>Thank you, and we hope to see you on the 27th!
