CII Volunteer Orientation

If you're interested in volunteering at the Children's Institute, please sign up for a volunteer orientation to learn more about CII, prospective opportunities, and onboarding requirements.

Virtual Volunteer Orientation Additional Information:

• Each volunteer orientation lasts between 1 hr to 1.5 hours.
• Attendees will be required to be on camera and engaged throughout the orientation or you will be asked to attend another session
• We start promptly 5 minutes after the the hour, if you join later than 5 minutes you will not be allowed into the session.
• Proof of vaccinations required for frequent opportunities which include primary series of COVID-19, Tdap, and MMR
• Onboarding may take 2-4 weeks
• Age requirements: 18+ for frequent opportunities

T ype of Volunteer Opportunities

• F requent opportunities at our Early Childhood Education school sites that serve 0-5 year olds through our Early Head Start (EHS) and Head Start programs. This is an ideal opportunity for Early Childhood practicum students. Other options coming soon at our Community Schools!

• I nfrequent opportunities include one-day program/event support.
