Cicely L Tyson Presents : the inaugural Genre's Music Showcase! The students of Cicely Tyson Community School of Performing and Fine Arts will be showcasing their talents at this event hosted by Bedrock Studio. In cooperation with the school, ALL proceeds from this event will go to the Cicely L Tyson Community School's Class of 2026! Sit back, relax and enjoy these young students as they embark on their first step of their musical career.

Are babies/toddlers allowed in the theater?

Yes! All ages are allowed to come out and show support. Due to recording being in progress, if your baby begins to cry please step into the designated hallway area closest to your seat.

Will performances be recorded?

Yes, each student's performance will be recorded and later made available.

In case of emergency...

Depending on the emergency, there are multiple safety precautions that are in place. In case of fire, we will have everybody exit the building in a safe and timely manner.
