The Corrections Information Council (CIC) is an independent agency of the District of Columbia (DC) government, mandated to inspect and monitor the correctional facilities where DC residents are incarcerated. Join the DC Corrections Information Council (CIC) in signing postcards for the nearly 5,000 incarcerated DC residents who are incarcerated in the Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP). Maintaining community ties is one way to improve conditions of confinement and successful reentry for justice-involved individuals. Here's an opportunity for the community to send holiday cheer into prisons across the US.
The CIC will have addressed postcards for you to write, after the CIC Open Meeting on Tuesday, December 13, at 6pm.
