Cysters X Juice Magazine present: Chronically Creative zine-making workshop.When: the 14th of October 2021 18:00 - 19:30What is a zine? Think scrapbooking but on a whole new level; cutting, sticking and getting stuck in. You’ll be exploring the topics of health and well-being, and everyone will leave with their own personalised zine!What will I need? A ticket, access to the internet. Materials will be posted to attendees a few days ahead of the zine, so sign-ups will close on the 11th of October.Who is this for? This is a safe space specifically for chronically ill people who face additional marginalisation because of their identity.Marginalisation describes both a process and a condition that prevents individuals or groups from full participation in social, economic and political life. Some examples but not a fully extensive list, e.g. Race: A person of colour Gender: non-binary including transgender, gender fluid, identifies as a woman Sexuality: queer, bisexual, pansexual - not heterosexual.If you do not face additional marginalisation, this workshop is not for you. We are explicitly attempting to support those who are further ‘othered’ by society and have less support, access &amp; resources because of their intersectional identity.This workshop will be supported by Neelam Heera (Cysters Founder), Nikita Chadha (Trustee, Writer and Facilitator for Cysters) &amp; zine-making will be facilitated by Rae (Juice Droplet Founder and Art Director).*There are only 20 spaces for this workshop, so please only sign up if you can attend - you will be asked to share your address via the ticket page so that materials for the workshop can be posted to you*--
