The 2023 Packing Party at the Fort Bend County Fair provided 4,000 shoebox gifts filled with beautiful toys, school supplies, colors, shirts, backpacks, and love. Individuals provided these generous donations in the area, and these shoebox gifts are lighting children's faces worldwide.
For 2024, the Operation Christmas Child area teams are hosting the 2nd annual Christmas in July Gala to raise funds to host the 2024 Packing Party at the Fort Bend County Fair. Proceeds will help with the cost of hosting this event at the fair and help with items to fill the shoeboxes.
In addition to the Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts built during the Packing Party at the Fort Bend County Fair, this unique opportunity provides us the occasion to pray with individuals to meet the needs of our local community. Even more so now individuals and communities are hurting and need uplifting. We will share numerous stories of how individuals' lives were touched by their interaction with this event. This event and proceeds will also help garner more support and awareness in the area for the ministry of Samaritan's Purse and Operation Christmas Child.
