Join us as we embark on a French Pastry journey in re-introducing the understated but versatile Choux Pastry. Watch a free cooking demo on how its created from scratch and stay on and participate in our "assemble your own Paris-Brest" activity for a small fee of just 200 Php!Cooking Demo – 6:00 to 6:30 PMAssemble your own Paris-Brest – 7:00 to 8:00 PMChoux PastryA light Pastry dough that only uses eggs, butter, flour and water. It is characterized by a crispy outer shell and light, airy interior. This type of dough is used on a variety of pastries such as eclairs, profiteroles (cream puff), Croquembouche, Beignets, Paris-Brest and the Latin Churros. Paris-BrestParis-Brest is a french dessert created in 1910 by Pastry Chef Louis Durand upon request of the organizer of a bicycle race between Paris and Brest. Its circular shape is meant to imitate a bicycle wheel. Paris-Brest is originally created as a cake, but with modern modifications, some would create smaller versions of this.
