Join us for the third annual ChopTails competition, welcoming four all-star bartenders from the Southern Maine region, inviting them to square off in the ultimate test of mixologist mastery. Proceeds benefiting Maine Needs.

The Competition:
Round 1 - Speed
Our five contestants will have 15 minutes to create a cocktail of their choosing; using unique basket ingredients and present it to the judges. Judges will then vote and the contestant with the winning recipe will receive a 30 second advantage for Round 2.
Round 2 - Creative
Contestants will be challenged to create a custom, creative cocktail using ingredients they select from The Pantry in addition to the required basket items. There are no rules for these cocktails and creativity is the name of the game. Do our contestants have it what it takes to come up with a perfectly balanced, innovative cocktail in just 20 minutes?
The Winner:
Judge's Choice - The cocktails in each round will be ranked in 5 categories; timing, presentation, taste, creativity/naming, and ingredient utilization. The contestant that earns the highest score will earn the 2024 Batson River ChopTails Champion trophy, bragging rights, along with a check for $500!
Crowd's Choice - Vote for your favorite cocktails and crown a People's Choice winner!

It sure is. Admission includes a selection of alcoholic beverages, all attendees will be carded at the door.
A VIP table includes your own private section in the bar-facing alcoves on the opposite end of the restaurant from the fireplace. Enjoy table beverage service and your own exclusive spread of snacks. Includes admission for up to 8 people. A bottle of bubbles will be provided for a welcome toast.
Yes, we will provide a selection of bougie appetizers and snacks so you stay fed while enjoying the cocktails.
Our satellite bars will have beer, wine, cocktails, and a selection of N/A options.
There are no ticket price tiers however you are free to offer your welcome cocktail to another guest.
Seating will be limited and available on a first come first served basis. If you need to secure accessible accommodations please advise in advance. VIP tables include seating for 8 people.
