Come to listen and take part in ChoirFest. A range of choirs and singing groups based in the Upper Calder Valley will perform, as part of a weekend of singing activities in the lovely surroundings of St James the Great Church in Hebden Bridge. Including the sound of Waiting for Dawn, Under the Bridge, Zarebi, Calder Valley Voices, Three Valleys Gospel Choir, Vocal Highs and many more!


Completing this weekend of song, on Sunday 12 May a group of twelve singers from the renowned Georgian ensembles Amer-Imeri and Mtiebi will be coming to Hebden Bridge to teach and perform songs and dance from the Republic of Georgia as part of a two week tour of the UK. We are a 7 voice acapella group. Based in West Yorkshire, we sing a varied mix of of tunes - from UK folk, through Georgian, South African and Maori songs to carefully chosen 70s and 80s classics. We sing the songs that speak to us.
