Latched Support In-person Workshop: Childbirth Readiness

Come learn in a fun way!

This FREE workshop is taught by a Certified Childbirth Educators and our Certified Doulas!

Our goal is to help you feel prepared and confident going into labor. We will discuss stages of labor, hospital expectations, your birth plan, coping and comfort measures, how partners can support during labor, and much more.

You are welcome to bring your birthing ball and/or any massage/comfort measure techniques you plan to take to your birth.

Space for this workshop is limited to maintain intimacy of the workshop. Please only register if you plan to attend. We highly recommend your support partner attends.

Please bring your questions and be prepared to take notes throughout this workshop.

FREE diapers & a birthing essential pack provided to eligible attendees.

Who can attend this workshop?

Most appropriate for expecting parents. This class is catered to parents who are close to their due date and currently expecting.

Can a support person attend with me?

Yes! We suggest that mom brings the person who will be in the delivery room during labor. We ask that only expecting parents attend this specific workshop. If you have any questions, please contact our offices

What information do I need to provide to attend this workshop?

Name, email, & phone number are required in order to contact you. Additional info is required to attend workshop. Additional questions must be filled out prior to attending. This will assist in understanding your eligibility & getting you set up in our material assistance program.

What type of materials are available for registered attendees?

Latched Support provides 1 free pack of diapers, information packets, sanitary packs, & 1 pregnancy related item (as available). Each education topic covered in this social has a goodie-bag with essentials from that topic.

What if I have an older child or not currently expecting?

We request that only mom & partner attend this specific workshop. This education topic is very intimate & hands on, we ask that no children attend.

What if I am running late?

Admittance to any educational event, social, or workshop closes 15 minutes after scheduled start time. This is to ensure that everyone receives the full education & materials. If you are running late or need to cancel, please contact our offices ASAP to make other arrangements.

Do I have to pay for anything/what are the requirements?

ALL events, workshops, &socials hosted by Latched Support are always free. There is no income requirement. The only requirement is that you are pregnant or a parent of a child under the age of 36 months & reside in a Texas area code.
