Childbirth Education Class (East)

This in-person prenatal childbirth education class will provide expectant families with support and guidance as they prepare for their baby.

All education classes are open to any expectant family, regardless of where you plan to deliver-feel free to register at the campus that offers the date and time that work best for you.

• Labor & Delivery: Understanding the stages of labor and how it typically progresses.
• Comfort Techniques: A brief introduction to helpful strategies like movement, positioning, and relaxation.
• Medical Procedures: Common interventions such as inductions, epidurals, and cesarean birth.
• Cesarean Birth: What to expect if a surgical delivery becomes necessary.
• Newborn Care: What happens in the first hours after birth, including skin-to-skin and initial assessments.
• Postpartum Recovery: Physical and emotional changes after birth, and tips for navigating the early days.
