Mercy Health Lourdes will be hosting childbirth boot camp. Class will be from 8am -4pm with a break for lunch.
This class is for expecting mothers and their support person(s). These classes can provide essential information, including:
- Ways to identify when you're in labor
- What to do when your water breaks
- Different methods of delivery
- Pain management options
- Breastfeeding basics
- Postpartum care
- Common hospital procedures
- Tour of our Labor and Delivery Unit
We recommend taking this class between 28 and 37 weeks of your pregnancy. If you have a support person(s), we highly encourage them to join you in childbirth class. If they are unable to attend, you will still benefit from the class. We look forward to the delivery of your baby, and welcoming you and your little one to the Mercy Health Family.
