Description

The 2017 Child and Youth Policy Alignment Summit is an invitation-only summit geared toward local, state, tribal and federal governmental leaders that are working to align policies for children and youth.

The Summit will kick off with a reception on June 14th at 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. and continue on June 15th from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.


Meeting Location. The Summit will take place at the National League of Cities (NLC) and National Association of Counties (NACo) Conference Center at 660 North Capitol St NW, Washington, DC 20001. The location is near the red line metro stop: Union Station.

Hotel Room Block. A fixed number of rooms are available at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park Hotel for the night of Wednesday, June 14 (25 rooms) and Thursday, June 15 (10 rooms) at a discounted rate of $259.00, exclusive of taxes and fees. The hotel is located at 2660 Woodley Rd NW, Washington, DC. Attendees will be billed directly by the hotel and are responsible for paying for their own overnight accommodations.

Please email Shanell Meredith at shanell@forumfyi.org no later than 4:00pm EST on May 15, 2017 to secure a room at the negotiated rate. The room rate cannot be guaranteed after May 15, 2017 or if we no longer have rooms available within our guest cap associated with the event. The Forum for Youth Investment will provide your hotel confirmation number by May 26th.

NOTE: Many of you have been invited to special affinity group meetings prior to the Summit. You will need to register for those with your respective national partners, with the exception of the Children's Cabinet Network, who should register on this site.
