The Child and Adolescent Trauma Program Virtual Open House at NIP is currently accepting applications for the 2024 - 2025 academic year. Please join us on June 20 to learn more about the program.

We invite you to join us and meet the co-chairs to find out more about ITP’s Child & Adolescent Trauma Certificate Program.

Childhood trauma is a public health epidemic that is often minimized in society and misunderstood and misdiagnosed in treatment.

Our program aims to create a welcoming and brave space for participants to learn and grow in their mastery of understanding how trauma impacts childhood, development, and families in addition to giving participants tangible skills and tools to treat it in therapy, classrooms and beyond.

With a commitment to an intersectional and anti-oppressive lens, we encourage therapists to actively examine their own social locations and the ways in which their privilege, marginalization, and power may impact and be activated in the treatment space with children.

While this program is intended for therapists who work with children, adolescents, and their families — we also welcome folks from all careers who are interested in child development and/or trauma.

Join us and meet faculty and graduates of our program.
