Chicken Processing Workshop

In the pursuit of knowing where our food comes from and honoring the animals that provide us with nourishment, Sunshine Ranch invites you to a chicken processing workshop on October 4th.

After hosting a cow processing class this past winter, we felt called to offer a similar, more hands-on experience for people who want to learn a skill, enjoy well-raised protein, and celebrate it all in community.

This class includes the processing of the chicken from dispatch to packaging, the opportunity to take a fresh chicken home with you, and lunch featuring this year's crops.

We recommend wearing clothes that can get dirty and closed-toed waterproof shoes. Also, if you have any hunting or fishing knives, you're welcome to bring those as well.

Please note the address for this event is 3505 Nebo Road, not 3507 (so park by the new barn). Parking information to follow.
